Project specifications are based on the U.S. Geological Survey National Geospatial Program Base Lidar Specification 2024, revision A. The data was developed based on a horizontal projection/datum of NAD83 (2011), UTM 18N, meters and vertical datum of NAVD88 (GEOID18), meters. This task is for providing a spring 2024 leaf-off and snow-free lidar survey over an area of approximately 2,872 square miles. This project will support the 3DEP mission, the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) high-resolution elevation enterprise, as well as many state and local agencies. The New York work unit is approximately 2285 square miles and has 2810 tiles. To acquire detailed surface elevation data for use in conservation planning, design, research, floodplain mapping, dam safety assessments and elevation modeling, etc. Classified LAS files are used to show the manually reviewed bare earth surface. This allows the user to create intensity images, breaklines and raster DEMs. The purpose of these LiDAR data was to produce an auto generated elevation models (DEMs) with a 1 meter cell size.\n", "summary": "1 meter bare earth DEM image services of USGS 2024 LIDAR collection.", "title": "USGS_2024_1_meter", "tags": [ "elevation", "DEM" ], "type": "Image Service", "typeKeywords": [ "Data", "Service", "Image Service", "ArcGIS Server" ], "thumbnail": "thumbnail/thumbnail.png", "url": "https://localhost.svc.ny.gov:6443/arcgis/services/USGS_2024_1_meter/ImageServer", "spatialReference": "NAD_1983_2011_UTM_Zone_18N", "accessInformation": "NYS ITS Geospatial Services, USGS", "licenseInfo": "" }
